ATOM is a business browser extension used to automate the collection and processing of electronic-component supplier offers for RFQ workflows.
ATOM processes product and commercial information visible on supported supplier websites or returned by those websites to the user's browser. This may include part numbers, manufacturers, prices, stock quantities, minimum order quantities (MOQ), lead times, packaging information, technical characteristics and available compliance data.
ATOM also processes limited browsing information such as the URL and title of open tabs when necessary to identify the ATOM Hub or supported supplier pages and to manage supplier tabs during automated parsing.
The extension may store operational information locally, including parsing tasks, queue state, settings, diagnostic state and currency-rate data.
Data is used only to provide ATOM's stated RFQ automation functionality: collecting supplier offers, normalizing supplier data, managing automated supplier tabs, performing currency conversion and passing parsed results to the ATOM Hub for processing by the user.
ATOM does not use browsing information to build a general browsing history or user profile.
Operational extension state is primarily stored locally in browser extension storage. Parsed supplier information may be exchanged between the extension and the ATOM Hub as part of the user's active RFQ workflow.
The extension communicates with supported supplier websites
as required for normal product-page parsing and may request
public currency-rate information from
cbr-xml-daily.ru.
Requests to supplier websites may use the user's existing authenticated browser session where required by the supplier. ATOM does not intentionally read, store or transmit passwords or authentication credentials.
ATOM does not sell user data. User data is not used for advertising, personalized advertising, credit decisions, data-broker activity or unrelated profiling.
ATOM does not provide collected data to advertising platforms or data brokers.
The ATOM extension does not download or execute remote JavaScript or other remote executable code. Extension code is packaged with the installed extension.
ATOM is designed to process only the information required for its RFQ and supplier-parsing functions. It is not designed to collect personal communications, health data, precise location data, payment-card information or authentication credentials.
Access to supplier websites is restricted by the extension manifest to supported domains. The production ATOM Hub uses HTTPS and authenticated access. The public privacy-policy page does not expose the authenticated ATOM application.
Local operational data is retained only as required for extension operation and RFQ workflows. Removing the extension or clearing its extension storage removes its locally stored extension data.
Data accessed by ATOM is used only to provide or improve the extension's clearly described RFQ automation functionality and is not transferred or used for purposes unrelated to that functionality.
Questions concerning this privacy policy may be submitted using the developer contact information published with the ATOM listing in the Chrome Web Store.
